Adam Hickman
Adam's career in international medical assistance was forged from his passion for travel and adventure. After studying for a degree in business management at Exeter university, Adam began working in the adventure travel industry in a variety of roles and whilst training as a mountain/expedition leader, jungle survival instructor and remote medic. Adam spent over 10 years leading groups on expeditions in some of the remotest corners of the world. When the call of hot showers and comfy beds became too strong, his experience and ambition naturally lead him in to more office based management and leadership roles, including moving to Dubai as the Middle East Director for World Challenge Expeditions (part of the TUI group). Adam moved back to the UK in 2012 to become Operations Director for UK adventure travel group Chameleon Worldwide before going on to specialise as a consultant in travel risk and crisis management. It was a natural transition for Adam to begin providing international medical assistance for travellers and he has seen and experienced first hand the importance of being supported overseas by a medical assistance provider that you can trust.
